About us

Meet the happy forager

Hey, I’m Kaidi, a medical herbalist, lecturer and promoter of complementary healthcare. The Happy Forager was created from a passion to share nature’s gifts with more people than I can in my 1:1 herbal medicine practice.

I’ve been making bespoke herbal teas for clients for many years but the idea to share them more widely was conceived on my numerous walks in the Surrey Hills, I’d point out plants to my partner and say “oh look at this – it’s medicinal, and this plant supports….!”, then walk a bit further and point out another medicinal plant. I’m sure he was thinking “brilliant - another weed!”. He called me ‘the happy forager’, and the name was born.

These plants are my trusted therapeutic tools, my healing assistants. Prescribed with care, these ‘weeds’ will help restore equilibrium in body and mind.

The herbs in The Happy Forager functional tea ranges are carefully selected for their therapeutic virtues to support your health and wellbeing. Although I forage herbs for personal use, the herbs in these tea mixes are sourced from my trusted practitioner suppliers. With a few exceptions, most of the herbs are native to the British Isles and mainland Europe.

Plants, whether medicinal or not, cannot survive without pollinators. The bee in my bonnet is to help to look after our beautiful environment.

Therefore, 55 pence of every sale (per each item) will be donated to Bumblebee Conservation Trust via Work for Good.

Sustainability is a key value to us, we have tin caddies for the tea range, as metal is forever recyclable. Keep the caddies for refills, recycle, or use for something else entirely. The refill bags are home compostable.

The response to the teas has been amazing, please get in touch and let me know what you think of them.

Enjoy x
